Juliusz Machulski's debut feature film. The movie blends elements of pure crime in the style of Alfred Hitchcock with a retro stylization. The action takes place in the Warsaw setting of the 1930s. Experienced safecracker Kwinto (played by Jan Machulski) has just been released from prison and is plotting revenge against Kramer (Leonard Pietraszak), the bank owner who years ago convinced him to commit a burglary and then betrayed him to the police.
